Because I'm taking so long in the development of Zendir 2, people are beginning to wonder if I'm still working on the game. I am! It's just taking so long because the introduction has a LOT of eventing in it, including small quests and puzzles. I've also got a rather unique sequence in the game which you'll love if you're a fan of action. Nonetheless, read on to see how the game's progressing...
There's currently about 45 minutes of gameplay, 1 minigame, 1 sidequest and about 20% of the main quest. I'm putting quality over quantity within Zendir 2, so I'll put the ETA on this game for Summer 2013. Zendir 3 will be far shorter and much quicker to make (more information on that later) and then there's still the Director's Cut of Zendir 1 to do. After the trilogy is done, I'm thinking of making something based off the site where it all began.
Yes, you heard that right - there was a site where it all began. Helped along by Law and Sunny (aliases), I created a vast story that would have involved players of all ages and all backgrounds, helping them become engrossed in the far-reaching story. The story was based on four dragons, four kingdoms and four dungeons wherein the players had to bond together to find a set of legendary armour to destroy the source of evil. It was good while it lasted, but the holidays rolled around and people went separate ways. It was also called Zendir: A New World, but Zendir 1's plot is vastly different from that of the site's, so I will be renaming the spinoff.
Stay tuned to see what'll happen when the world is reborn!
BREAKING NEWS: I can't believe I forgot to mention this! Someone's taken the mantle of performing an entire Let's Play of Zendir 1 (though he gets lost for quite a bit after video 6, but after video 11 or so, it gets back on track) - watch it here!
