Hi guys! I know I've been gone a ridiculously long time, but that's what happens when you're overloaded with three giant essays, a poster and a presentation! Nonetheless, it is all done for about a month now (though I may drop off the radar near the end due to revision, but I'll be back again after exams)...
Anyway, Square Enix is habing a sale on all their Final Fantasy games. I couldn't resist the temptation to buy Final Fantasy 4 after watching many wonderful hours of Final Fantasy 9 (it's rare, so it is on my birthday list) and I have Final Fantasy 10 to keep me going even when I've finished 4! After that, there's only 5, 6, 7 and 8 to get, though 5 is low priority due to the lack of evident story within it. You see, it is the story that sells me these games.
Speaking of stories, I've been meaning to continue writing them, but I just never got around to it. There may be a chance of me either continuing my game over this holiday or writing a new story. I buy games as they're an interactive story. All the better if you get it for the same price as a book!
So, about FF4. It's been remade with lovely graphics which remind me of FF3, and the new perspective makes it quite engrossing as it is easier to relate to the characters. The dialogue is intriguing, as is the story itself, though the game's not always very clear on what you have to do next. Either way, it has charm and fun, it's not very difficult either. Unless Square made the game easier for the remake... Considering they did for FF3, 2 and 1, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case here. It's to cater to the more casual mobile market who don't want to grind for hours to defeat a boss. All the better too, it means the story moves on quicker.
And so begins the saga of Final Fantasy 4, and my return to Zendir!
