Today's been one of the greatest days of 2012. I went to London's MCM Expo today because a friend said they'd be there, and the venue was much quieter than on Saturday. It turned out to be quite busy anyway, despite the hour-shorter opening time, and the travel cost me somewhere around £20 (inc. return tickets)
Still, one of my priority stalls was one for a notable up-and-coming iOS games development company...
So it's been a few weeks since I released Zendir: A New World, and the response has already blown me off my feet. Honestly, I expected no more than... about 100 downloads, and that's if I was lucky. I had contacts through Twitter, Facebook, etc that I could always ask to download the game if I was really strapped for comments...
Rather than working on my books these days, I've started to channel my storywriting habit through the medium of games. Yes, video games. Whilst I don't enjoy playing them as much as I used to, I love making them. The most recent one I've made is called Zendir: A New World.
