So it's been a few weeks since I released Zendir: A New World, and the response has already blown me off my feet. Honestly, I expected no more than... about 100 downloads, and that's if I was lucky. I had contacts through Twitter, Facebook, etc that I could always ask to download the game if I was really strapped for comments...
...but I didn't need to.
The RPG Maker community's friendly and helpful and always willing to try out any new game that comes their way. Because everyone appears to be making 'the next big thing' (ie: anything except fantasy RPGs) I had found a bit of a niche, and had made it in 30 days with the trial of RPG Maker VX Ace. I had to much fun in making it and reading the comments and responding to the 200+ downloads that I've decided to release my sequel.
Zendir 2: A World Reborn takes you on a journey through Zendir's past, to try to find out why the catastrophe that is inflicting Zendir's present is there today. Events need to be undone, time needs to be changed and relationships need mending... so that the future never happens. But it is your choice in whether to make this happen in the end.

Zendir 2 starts off explosively: Five years after Zendir: A New World, a demon interrupts Zaphilia's wedding ceremony, taking her beloved away. Not withstanding its actions, Zaphilia chases the demon, but a Seer's message intercepts her, forcing her to change her priorities. The demon finds her before she can activate the mysterious stone in the volcano that the Seer spoke of, and she is transported to the past.
And thus the story links back to the events of Zendir: A New World. But she doesn't travel to a mere five years ago. No, she travels much further...
Try to make your own game (in a month too, if you like, Zendir: A New World was made in a month!) and see whether your first game can match up to my first game, in terms of scope, quality and storytelling. If there's anything I can tell you now, it's that you're in for a heck of a ride!
