It's a really exciting time for me. Beyond Reality is now on Greenlight - but it isn't the same Beyond Reality you know from the one-hour demo! No, it's a six-to-eight-hour long adventure which takes you far and wide across the entire landscape of the past!

Beyond Reality is a joy to make. Breaking away from the realm of Zendir allows me to re-imagine magic as well as invent a new storyline based on all-new characters. Making a new standalone game (a remake of Beyond Reality IGMC) allows me to experiment with a greater diversity of gameplay aspects, from dungeon exploration to character development quests.
Click 'read more' to see what I've got to show you so far! Between the possibility of looking after 30~ cats, web design and waiting on a review for Zendir 3 (that is being moderated, as it has been submitted to a website) - there's not a lot going on right now. That doesn't mean I'm ever at a standstill, however!
After years of working on the same title, I have finally finished the game! You can read the synopsis and download it at: http://rpgmaker.net/games/7045/
Alternatively, click 'read more' to discover more about the game and its development! I feel a lot better. I'm not worrying about Uni right now (I've interrupted it) but it seems like that there's far more to the situation than what it initially appeared to be.
So I was just told that some jobs don't operate from the typical 9-5 hours. This isn't news to me, but learning that some operate on an increased number of hours (ending at 5) but starting earlier boggled the mind. How do these companies expect to operate with employee efficiency at possibly below the average, given by a 9-5? Press 'read more' for the long question and answer.
My last two blog posts were pretty depressing (I have no desire to read them again either) but I just thought I'd let you know that I'm still here.
Today, they (RPG Maker Web) finally announced the results of an IGMC contest that occurred last June/July, and lasted a month. The aim was to make a game in a month. It was a grueling experience, and not one I would want to revisit, especially as I now have nothing to show for it. Read on.
Normally when someone mentions University, you don't immediately think of a soul-sucking existence. But that's the case right now. It's pure tedium, mixed with increasing cynicism year-by-year.
Remember the game I made for the IGMC (Indie Game Making Contest) 2014? Well, you can view it being played here!
